The selected Nurse Midwifery faculty member will join our Advanced Practice Nursing Division. The position will be based in Newark, NJ. Rank, track, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and overall accomplishments.


Minimum Education and Experience

• Doctoral degree required but will consider well-qualified applicants near completion of a doctoral program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for RN and Nurse Midwifery licensure in New Jersey.
• National certification and current clinical experience (including labor and delivery experience) as a nurse midwife.
• Strong teaching background.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates with dual women’s health and nurse-midwifery certification will be given priority. Preference will also be provided to candidates who demonstrate scholarship (e.g., publications, national presentations, grant funding) and active participation in community and/or professional organizations.
