Rutgers University-Newark, an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services & Experience.

The Sr. Program Coordinator will be a member of the RU-N Enrollment Services & Experience Team. This is the inaugural position for the myRUN One Stop Center.

The primary role of the Sr. Program Coordinator:
- Assists and supports students in navigating enrollment areas at Rutgers University-Newark; areas include but are not limited to: student accounting, class registration, financial aid, etc.
- Works closely with students and a number of administrative leaders from across RU-N to implement new strategies and approaches that seek to improve the quality of the enrollment experience for RU-N students.
- Responsible in understanding of the various student systems and enrollment service offices across the university.
- Responsible to understanding of federal and state laws and guidelines as well as university policies and procedures related to student enrollment.
- Leads case management teams that will include various stakeholder across the university in working to resolve complex enrollment issues.
- Works with the RU-N Enrollment Services & Experience Team to design and create the MyRUN One Stop Center.
- Hires, trains and supervises the student staff for the myRUN call center.
- Creates and implements a marketing and communication for the myRUN One Stop Center.
- Leads and contributes to a number Enrollment Services & Experience Team projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of program design and execution, coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach. Also requires a minimum of two years relevant experience in a program coordination or administrative function that includes coordination of work and management of people.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good communication skills; and computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in student financial aid, registration, and/or student accounting receivable experience. Preferred candidate would have some experience within higher education student services.
