Posting Summary

The Department of Biology at Rutgers University-Camden seeks applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track, PhD-level faculty position in Biology with an emphasis on undergraduate student success, retention, and research training. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in the department including Science Writing, Research Training, Biology I, and Biology II. The position also includes administrative responsibility supporting academic and career building activities for undergraduate majors in biomedical research fields. The teaching philosophy statement should include the candidate’s view on diversity in biomedical workforce development and curricular research training. Rutgers-Camden is also interested in a faculty member interested in engaged classroom learning. We have new state-of-the-art engaged learning classroom facilities and laboratories opening in the Fall 2017 semester.
