Posting Summary

This position conceives, develops and executes visual design – primarily for print – that adheres to University visual identity standards and that promotes Rutgers University-Camden messaging priorities through such vehicles as brochures, booklets, flyers, and more. This position will also be responsible for helping to solicit and negotiate competitive print buys for reviewing pre-print proofs to ensure that final products are of the highest quality while remaining within budget

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual design, digital arts, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates skills, comprehensive knowledge, and understanding of visual marketing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Requires excellent computer skills; excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to deal with a variety of situations with discretion and confidentiality. Must be able to manage multiple and simultaneous projects and deadlines. Must be available to work occasional evening and weekend hours in addition to the standard workweek.
