Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Regional Recruiter for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
This Regional Recruiter for the New England area is a member of the Recruitment and Enrollment Team and has responsibility for the range of duties typically associated with recruiting and enrolling the entering class.
• This Regional Recruiter is a temporary member of the Recruitment and Enrollment Team and has responsibility for the range of duties typically associated with recruiting and enrolling the entering class.
• Visits high schools and community colleges to meet with students and school counselors, attends college fairs, conducts follow-up communication with school counselors and with applicants/admits.
• Plans recruitment and yield events.
• Interacts with alumni recruiters when appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications

*Experience in a college admissions office or as a school counselor preferred.
*Evening programs, and some overnight travel and weekend assignments required. *Experience in a college admissions office or as a school counselor preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

*Requires a bachelor’s degree.
*Needs good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and computer literacy. *Valid driver’s license.
