Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Admissions Associate for the Department of Undergraduate Admissions. The Admissions Associate is a member of the Recruitment and Enrollment Team and has responsibility for the range of duties typically associated with recruiting and enrolling the entering class.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
•Visits high schools and community colleges to recruit students in NJ and out-of-state.
•Conducts information sessions, both on and off campus. Helps to plan events.
•Assists with a wide range of administrative office assistance, including correspondence, organization, and data collection.
•Responsible for mailings to staff, schools, and admitted students.
•Conducts follow-up communication with applicants/admits

Minimum Education and Experience

•Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
•Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

•Driver’s license required.
