Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Guest Services (Temporary) for Rutgers Gardens. Among the key duties are the following:

•Greets/facilitates /directs guests visiting the Gardens or attending functions and will assist with parking.
•Ensures Cabin is in clean working condition for weekend events and will communicate any issues directly with Gift Shop Manager.
•Sets up chairs for events and break them down at conclusion.
•Assists in capturing non-scheduled photo permits – will be equipped with wireless credit card machine for such needed transactions.
•Assists in watering outside plants and those in the greenhouses when required.

Minimum Education and Experience

•Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
•Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
