The Rutgers University, Graduate School of Education, invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the department of Educational Psychology during the 2017-2018 academic year (September 5, 2017 through January 2, 2018 for the Fall Semester) and (January 16, 2018 through May 11, 2018 for the Spring Semester).

Successful applicants will instruct undergraduate or graduate level courses in at least one of the the following content areas:

-School Counseling and Counseling Psychology

-College Student Affairs and Higher Education

-Educational Psychology: Learning & Cognition and/or Human Development

-Gifted Education

-Special Education

-Educational Statistics, Measurement, and/or Evaluation

Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online formats. Course appointments are in the New Brunswick area, as well as, hybrid/online format.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Masters Degree Required.

Doctorate Degree Preferred.

Applicants with other degrees from an accredited institution will be considered. Some prior teaching experience and/or work experience relevant to the areas listed above.

Statement

Instructors are expected to attend orientation, submit syllabus, respond to student emails and submit grades as per contract.
