Rutgers Dining Services is seeking part-time, entry-level food service workers. Performs general utility work in the various dining facilities at Rutgers University, including food prep, service and maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

For entry-level positions, no experience is required.

For all other positions, requires a high school/vocational school education or equivalent experience depending on the duties to be performed. May also require a valid driver’s license and two years driving experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in food service preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Requires excellent customer service skills.

Equipment Utilized
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires the ability to stand for extended periods; and to lift and carry food, beverage and maintenance equipment.
