The School of Nursing is one of eight schools that make up the Rutgers biomedical and Health Sciences. As part of the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences division, the School of Nursing (Newark) offers unique opportunities in education, research, and practice at a leading national research university which is the state’s preeminent, comprehensive public institution of higher education.
Innovative academic offerings include bachelor’s, master’s, post-master’s, DNP and PhD programs that are preparing nurse leaders of today and tomorrow at campus locations in Newark, New Brunswick, and Blackwood, NJ.
We invite inquiries, nominations and applications for a tenure-track faculty member with an established program of NIH-funded research. This individual will become a valued faculty member of the Division of Nursing Science. The position will be based primarily in Newark, NJ. Successful candidates will demonstrate the expertise and commitment to advance nursing education and nursing science through research, teaching excellence, advisement of PhD students, and mentorship of faculty colleagues. We are seeking visionary nurse leaders who will make solid contributions to the academic life of the faculty.
|Minimum Education and Experience||
• The responsibilities of the NIH-funded faculty member include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, community service, research and publication, and participation in community activities as negotiated with the Dean or his designee.
|Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities||
• Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with tenure, or tenure-track Assistant Professor
