Posting Summary

The Rutgers University School of Nursing-Camden (SNC) invites applications for faculty positions at the assistant or associate professor level. Successful candidates for these two positions will have excellent communication and teaching skills, a record of scholarly publications, and a program of research. The SNC has an RN-BS, a traditional, and a second degree baccalaureate nursing program, as well as a DNP nurse practitioner program. A PhD program with emphasis in translational science or computational and analytic science is planned, as well as a DNP track in health care management (DNP/MBA).

The responsibilities incumbent in the position will include: teaching across programs, scholarship and service to the School and the Community. Experience in oncology nursing is desired for one of the positions.


Minimum Education and Experience

Licensure or eligibility for Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Jersey is required.

An earned doctorate in nursing or a related field (PhD preferred).

A graduate degree (doctoral and/or master’s) in nursing.

Recognized scholarly experience as evidenced by academic accomplishments, publications, and service commensurate with the rank of rank.

Teaching experience.
