Job Openings For Legacy-UMDNJ Positions

NOTE -- Due to the integration of Rutgers University with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), at this time, individuals interested in applying for open positions at Rutgers University and at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences will have to follow the separate links below, and will have to create two separate job seeker profiles. We apologize for any inconvenience as we transition towards an integrated applicant tracking system for the university.

For the purposes of benefits administration and payroll, the positions listed through this page have been classified as Rutgers-legacy UMDNJ positions and will be covered by the benefits associated with Rutgers-legacy UMDNJ positions. Use the form below to search open job postings at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences:

“Rutgers-legacy UMDNJ position” is a term used to denote a position which, historically, was associated with the former University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Many of these positions exist at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS), though some may exist in Central Administration or other areas within the University.

RBHS job postings do not include open positions at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, the Rutgers College of Nursing, and the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research. Open positions for those three units can be found in the Rutgers University Applicant Tracking System. To view those positions, return to the previous screen and click the “Submit” button in the red search box.

Jobs Candidate Screening
In accordance with Federal law, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, will not employ individuals in specific job duties who are currently excluded by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and / or the General Service Administration (GSA) from participating in Federal programs. Failure to disclose excluded status during the hiring process may result in a contingent offer of employment being rescinded, or, in the event that an individual is hired before his or her excluded status is discovered, reassignment or termination of the employee.
